Four fixes from your beta.6 feedback, and each has a named reporter to thank:

• Port card layout (Port card title and subtitle wrap at a fraction of the card width #584, @jimmyorz / @official-Cromatin): the headline and description now get the full card width instead of wrapping at a fraction of it. The blocked-tracking message is also shorter ("This cable can't be tracked", full explanation on hover).
• Stuck placeholder card (Port card stuck in placeholder state after a connect/disconnect cycle #585, @official-Cromatin): disconnected ports no longer get stuck in the placeholder state with the Diagnostics button missing after a connect/disconnect.
• Phantom "Charger connected" on app start ("Charger connected" fires on app start for a charger that was already plugged in #568, @official-Cromatin): the app now reads the existing power state before it snapshots, so a charger that was already plugged in stays silent at launch. This one especially needs checking on M1-era Macs.
• Saved cable names moved to the notification subtitle: long cable names no longer get cut off in the notification title; the name sits on its own line now.

Also in this build: beta builds default the "Include beta versions" update toggle to on (#561).

What to look at: normal use, plus if you can, launch the app while already on a charger or powered dock and confirm no "Charger connected" banner appears, at start or in the minute after. @official-Cromatin, your M1 Pro is the machine this fix was built for, so your confirmation on #568 (and another look at #567 clicks and #556 grouped names) would be gold.

To touch up on my comment of the previous release discussion, when clicking on the notification informing the user about the update, the popover opens so its now working as expected.

All issues targeted in this are now fixed: The placeholder card no longer gets stuck, portlayout is now correct, phandom "Charger connected" notifications on app start are gone too and the saved cable name is correcty placed in the notification subtitle.

Thanks for sticking with it, and the reports! This one has been a slog. But, we got there in the end. With a much improved app resulting.
