Missing a comprehensive "How to" guide #1565

Hey folks! I've been using LifeOS for 3 weeks now. The feature list looks tempting, and I love what LifeOS proposes on paper. But what I'm missing is a good guide to get started. When I asked lifeos for a user guide it said "complete the /interview skill and then just talk to me daily to do your work. Everything else is automated". But 3-weeks in, turns out that's not the case? My pulse is stale already, rings and other stats in the pulse never auto update, and a lot of skills or workflows are almost never invoked automatically when talking to my PIA. What I would love: watching an hour long video of Daniel just interacting with his installation and playing around, so I know what to expect, or a dedicated how-to guide. At this point I don't know if my setup is broken or if there is an expectation gap. Having said all that, great work here @danielmiessler 🙌 I love your product philosophy and can't wait to use it to the fullest potential. |

ourlifeos.ai should help you. Type cmd-K and you can jump to any documentation. The whole system has full documentation, and not only that, but you can just point your AI to the documentation and ask it any questions. |

Fair hit — the gap is real. What exists today: INSTALL.md (AI-native install), the Setup workflow's interactive Q&A, and docs.ourlifeos.ai for concepts. What's missing is a task-oriented first-week guide, and it's now on the docs backlog. Until then: the fastest path is handing INSTALL.md to your AI and asking IT to drive — the install is designed to be run by your assistant, not by hand. |
