HTML 5 tags in the theme

Is there any plan to use HTML 5 tags in the theme and make it wholly HTML 5 theme?

We're discussing our options but yes that is high up on the list of things I want to add. We will probably add it to version 2.0 as too many people rely on this theme in it's current state for us to go tweaking too much.

yes we will, probably to beta for testing but will have to see how kind time is being :)

Is there a rough estimate time frame for when 2.0 might be released? And is there somewhere I can read about possible news about 2.0.

Time is not being kind at the moment ;)

Unfortunately there is no time frame yet as we are just getting the wishlist together. More than likely it will be a complete rebuild following the same principles that were already laid down by the current version. We want to start as soon as possible but unfortunately there are a few other projects that have priority first. They have been patiently waiting in the background, so they deserve their time :)
