Syncing to calendar is only working one time

Describe the issue

I have enabled sync to 1 calendar (Google) and that is working fine when enabling.
But when i mark a task as completed, it isn't moving to the 'new' date, let's say 3 days from now.

The old entry isn't deleted, but the new entry is nowhere to be found.

-- Question; Can i trigger a manual sync? Or when it is actually syncing?

Reproduction steps

1. Create a new task and set interval to 3 days.
2. Put the date 3 days in past so the task is due, today.
3. Check calendar (Task is there)
4. Go to the tab Maintenance
5. Mark task as complete
6. Check calendar (Task is still there (not deleted) and new task (3 days from now) is not there)....
