As emerged in the discussion in https://github.com/asterics/AsTeRICS/pull/294#discussion_r274379176 it would make sense to do some generic type-checking for plugin property values in https://github.com/asterics/AsTeRICS/blob/56f59f844f2a1c038ff4807ee208127d2033298b/ARE/middleware/src/main/java/eu/asterics/mw/are/DeploymentManager.java#L1079 in order to avoid duplicated checks in each plugin.
