hmm... not sure what happened with the channel name on the local node.
I'm pretty sure that the channel name was present before on MM side and node side as I used this already to test channel swap before and the correct names were received for both channels. |

Regarding the display of MeshCore nodes on the unified map: if the future plan is to have MeshCore local node as a distinct source, maybe it is not necessary now to have them displayed on the unified map ? Because having them displayed now might be work that goes to waste later... |
|
UX: The user dropdown menu should probably be duplicated from the inner MM to the unified page. What is the correct way to reference "inner MM" and "Unified view" ? |

Hi, @Yeraze, sorry I've been stuck on other topics lately... Starting 4.0.0.beta6 over 3.12.0 (SQLite) still not working on my side. I have [ERROR] Error running migration 029 : and [ERROR] Error running migration 030 : The "Error running migration 029" does not loop as it does for 030. Here is the full log : |

Uh oh!

Hi @Yeraze,
I'll put some findings here so they might be available to Claude when necessary without necessarily creating issues that may not be issues.
I hope it's fine to proceed like this ?
To start here is the log when upgrading v3.12.0 to 4.0.0-alpha2 (SQLite) --> not working
meshmonitortst.4.0.0.a2-over-3.12.0.log
Fresh start does work well :-)
First feeling: Wow! It's nice ! :-)

I already gave feedback regarding the node display for multi-sources (round like MC below, but custom name and color).
Currently, label display at too low zoom level is probably not necessary.
Also, MC nodes are not (yet) displayed on the unified map.
I understand that when I click on the default source, I enter into a Meshmonitor similar to what I know (1 MT local Node + 1 MC local Node).

When I try to rename the default source:

The place for the name is too small and not visible:
If I disable the virtual node, then it is better:
But if I put the real name, then it is too long:
--> Maybe having the full line for the name could be better.
Unified Telemetry is: Wohaou!

--> Maybe add a filter by favorites, and a quick "Filter nodes", but I'm sure this and more are coming soon ;-)
--> The timestamp display is wrong: probably wrong precision. (Maybe add a real time and date display instead of xx s/m/h ago)
That's all for my first very quick look at it.
I haven't tested deeper so far, but it seems to be working quite well ! :-D
