It seems to be not loading the addon for some reason unless I'm using the
local address and says this about maps.. it also says
"Cannot connect to the Meshtastic node. Please ensure the node is reachable
and has HTTP API enabled."
Is this something that works with meshcore? Do I need to change meshcore
settings? It also said no nodes have gps positions. But a bunch do. It says
this in logs. Is it not compatible with a heltec v3 meshcore USB companion
running the stock firmware plugged directly into the home assistant
instance or do I need to change settings on the node? I can try to write a
how to for this if you want me to after I figure it out. But I don't really
know what in doing here... Sorry, I'm trying to manage the meshcore network
between Carmel ny and mahopac ny and Yorktown heights in Putnam county ny.
Meshtastic just doesn't work with the hills in any readable distance.
I set up like 50+ nodes and I've only switched half of them to the settings
919.5mhz sf10 500khz coding rate of 5 to stay legally compliant and stuff.
I never know when one of the poor quality 126090 cells will fail until
messages simply are not going through.
Integrating this with the home assistant completely so I can set
notifications if something isn't responding would be fantastic.
(i sent an email with pictures but it wouldnt send sorry.)

I'm unable to tell you this for certain, as I'm no longer using
MeshMonitor for managing my node. Nevertheless, I see no reason why it
shouldn't work, as the Dockerfile inside the Add-On always refers to the
"latest" build of MeshMonitor.
If you need to change/update/fix some things, feel free to check out my
protoype and tune it to your desire :)

I actually built a Home Assistant bridge for MeshMonitor a while back as well. Thought I'd share it here in case anyone finds it useful. Homeassistant Bridge: |

Hi everyone,
I’ve packaged MeshMonitor as a Home Assistant Add-on to better integrate it with my home automation setup. While I initially struggled with the Ingress feature (setting BASE_URL sadly didn't do the trick), I successfully resolved the UI issues using an internal NGINX reverse proxy.
Although this solution is a bit cumbersome, it seems fully functional and ready for me to demo to my colleagues tomorrow. You can find the configuration here: https://git.sgruber.at/ha/addons
Edit: Unmaintained prototype for now, but the Add-On is simple enough so that it should keep working or at least serve as nice foundation to get started with :)
