Can we use SOLWEIG in open spaces?

Hi I am a student and was trying to use Solweig for open spaces with trees but didnt find any relatable sources. So, i wanted to ask if we can use SOLWEIG for open rural sites with trees but no buildings? Our sites are small in size with open turfgrass areas, trees and minimal surrounding structures. Is there any known limitation for this type of setting?"

Hi. No, the model should work for that kind of settings also. I know about some studies that used the model for this purpose from Lund University in Sweden but maybe that study is not published yet.
