Can I have it ack frames?

I have a dev unit on my desk sending out can frames. I would like to have it ACK the frame. Not sure how to do it.

Do you mean the physical CAN ACK? This is done via the CAN transceivers and cannot be controlled via CAN++.

Ich you want to send a CAN message to acknowledge the reception of a message you can use C++ programming in CAN++.
Here is an example:

On receiving a can message with id 2 we send out a message 0x123 with first two bytes = 0xAA 0xBB. I have shwon two methods to set the message bytes. If you have a DBC or ARXML it would be easier to set the individual signals in the message.

Activate CAN programming via the C++ button or CAN => Programming. Look at the example ECU_main.cpp. Push the green compile button in the CAN++ IDE to build the code.

If you do not see messages in Can++ you have to go to Settings and setup according to your can speed etc. Do you know this parameters?
