Screen rotation

Has anyone been able to figure out how to rotate the screen? I'm running Anthias on top of Raspberry OS Lite. I tried to usual methods like changing the config.txt and cmdline.txt files, but no dice.

• What model of Raspberry Pi are you using
• What's the value set to dtoverlay — is it set to vc4-fkms-v3d or vc4-kms-v3d?
  • If it's set to vc4-kms-v3d, you can try switching it to vc4-fkms-v3d and check if you can now do screen rotation.
  • One issue that you might experience when switching from vc4-kms-v3d to vc4-fkms-v3d is that your Pi might not be able to play videos properly.

I'm using a Raspberry Pi 5. I tried changing dtoverlay but it resulted in major screen artifacting.

Does the artifacting happens only on videos?

In my case, it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions in rotating a Screen to Portrait?

Good news: screen rotation is now a built-in setting in Anthias, so you no longer need to edit config.txt or cmdline.txt. Open the web UI, go to Settings, and set the screen rotation (0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees). This shipped in v2026.05.1 (#2882).

To update, re-run the installer:
