Consider an RPM or Flatpak release

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I used fedora RPM based Linux distros. Even on my raspberry pi. Only a .deb file is available and a repo for debian based distros.

I dont know how to build from source, and would prefer a binary and associated update mechanism.

The source packages appear to be very old compared to the .deb files.

Please consider packaging the app for Fedora RPM or perhaps a Flatpak to enable users more flexibility on what to run the app on.

I considered building from source, but got lost.

Hi Alex,

RPM is possible, Flatpak is also nice option. Will consider it. The main issue is having repository for hosting packages and it's maintenance.

Yes its the ongoing maintenance that is always the problem. Perhaps that is what gives an extra tick for flatpak.

It could be interesting to support only flatpak and even drop the .dep binaries... Food for thought.
