Native background preview screenshots

The current standalone input is 4b7c7a3124d7e5f42af34ca0e6a22f964d36c31b above pinned base 348f217a853dd4a23d7fa4834dedb05f545c2075. Its customization remains a unique screenshot rendering consumer, isolated-world paint confirmation through the owned debugger, discarded warmup and final native readback. Failed warmup is best effort; replaced guests, interruption and final-readback errors propagate. The combined Manager fixture keeps the recording and still-image controls together.

Focused source checks cover Manager and native preview IPC. They establish source composition, not a newly built desktop's native acquisition or physical locked/display-off behavior. No artifact build or OS-state transition is authorized by a source rebuild. The current branch has no standalone accessory file; its ignored BRANCH_DETAILS.md and the update receipt in C:/Users/Quicksaver/AppData/Local/Temp/t3-unattended-20261014/preview-background-screenshots-update-receipt.json retain the exact-source evidence. The older publication account below is historical; PR 17242 is now closed.

Historical source notes

Current-state babysitting on 2026-10-13 is complete with no actionable new work. Local, origin tracking, live remote, PR and check SHA remain 1f35a8f7b455cbc253634f9c307e55d94271233e, directly above fixed e82a1ce3. PR #17242 is OPEN/MERGEABLE/CLEAN. All 26 check runs completed, 22 successful and four skipped; all eight required contexts pass or skip, and CodeRabbit status is SUCCESS. Its substantive review still covers historical 581d6f0c. All 13 comment/review records match publication, and the sole thread remains resolved. Existing source fixes and written dispositions remain valid. No code, commit, push, remote reply, review request, Magi round or integrated UI verification was needed. T3 rejected this subagent's watch request because monitoring belongs to the parent; no polling or sleep followed. Receipts and per-ID outcomes are in .piz/proof/babysit-1f35a8f7-20261013. No Git/runtime artifact or nested task was created, fixed ports are free and the runtime ledger is empty. This pass owns only ignored receipts and context/ledger updates; earlier resources and evidence remain preserved. The following publication account retains its original timing.

The complete branch contract is BRANCH_DETAILS.md. Local, remote-tracking, live remote and PR source 1f35a8f7b455cbc253634f9c307e55d94271233e is exactly one commit above fixed base/main target e82a1ce3f369f113b0b33dff8249569c345e30e8. Tracking remains origin/fix/preview-background-screenshots with gh-merge-base=base/main. Fixed ports are web 5753 and server 13793. Existing PR #17242 is OPEN, non-draft and MERGEABLE. Its immediate publication snapshot is BLOCKED while CI runs. The push used an explicit lease against verified previous remote 581d6f0c239bae2952f71b80d7c2ad5280aaef2b.

Native screenshots keep a unique rendering consumer through isolated paint scheduling, discarded warmup capture and final readback. Discarded warmup native errors are best effort; replaced/destroyed guests, interruption and final errors still propagate. Shared PiP/recording ownership, native retries and cleanup remain. Server/CDP, web-only, mobile, providers and contracts have no customization delta.

The fixed-base integration is conflict-free and requires no adaptations. Both customized Manager files remain byte-identical to the starting source and range-diff confirms an identical patch. Upstream leaves preview source, native IPC and preload unchanged. Desktop link routing, updater diagnostics and Linux Hyprland startup changes do not replace the customization. Current upstream dependencies and the tsc-rs desktop typecheck command are used. No customization is obsolete, no new branch-relative refactor is warranted, and no separate adaptation commit or conditional Magi review is needed.

The frozen-lockfile install, all 118 focused Manager/native IPC tests, desktop typecheck, scoped lint and diff check pass. Existing upstream warning/suggestions remain. The initial root-level test invocation also selected archived source copies in .piz/proof; the package-scoped invocation excludes those copies and passes. No source fix or upstream-control run is involved. Current receipts, original context copies and terminal accounting are in .t3/proof/update-fixed-e82a1ce3-20261013.

No frontend behavior changes in this update, so no conditional integrated web/desktop/mobile pass runs. Historical native comparisons and their limitations remain attributed to their original source in BRANCH_DETAILS.md. No current-base native UI, external review or CI result is claimed. No runtime, tab, device, mapping, lease or source staging is opened. Install and check sessions have exited, fixed ports are free, and the Windows ledger contains no request or holder for this worktree.

Publication updated the remote description and .piz/pr.md, preserved historical attachments, and uploaded a hash-verified current validation export. All 16 original receipt hashes match. The completed older full CodeRabbit review and CI are correctly attributed to 581d6f0c; no fresh current-head review or CI success is claimed. The edited bot summary retains that older coverage, and .piz/comments.md records its formatting and metadata-check changes. No review request, reply, babysitting or watcher ran. T3 registration is confirmed with watching false. Publication snapshots, receipts and terminal audit are in .piz/proof/publish-fixed-e82a1ce3-20261013.

The task-owned rollback ref refs/t3-update/preview-background-screenshots-before-e82a1ce3 points to 581d6f0c239bae2952f71b80d7c2ad5280aaef2b and remains owned by the preceding source-update task. Existing recovery refs and ignored historical proof remain preserved. Publication created no Git ref, persistent stash, temporary branch, intermediate squash commit, temporary worktree or transfer artifact, and started no runtime or delegated work. Push and PR-body edit each completed once; initial API head propagation lag and CRLF normalization were resolved without republishing. No source edit, commit, fetch, rebase or merge occurs during publication. Keep this document and all proof ignored.
