Description
As more and more things move to .webp (whether I like it or not) you may now be certain that you'll run into this format in places you least expect. But nevermind that.
I have a habit of selecting large number of files (>50) and opening them in Pinta to crop them since it's really fast in this task (not counting the long start-up of Pinta itself, but I already reported that issue).
However when among those files, one of them is in .webp format Pinta acts like it cannot open it and in fact you cannot open other files until you deselect all the .webp ones. Right clicking on a single .webp file also doesn't help.
I don't know why is that the case, Pinta opens webp files perfectly fine.
I tested native package and Flathub as well to rule out that it's the distribution fault. Same behavior on both.
Some info just in case:
Solus 4.9 KDE Plasma
Pinta flathub
