When I launch IB Gateway manually from Finder, the login screen presents the correct passkey option (iPhone/mobile passkey) and authentication works.
However, when IBC launches the Gateway (using gatewaystartmacos.sh with -inline flag), the Gateway automatically selects a device-bound hardware passkey (Windows Hello/Touch ID) and waits for authentication on the local machine. Since I don't have this passkey registered on my Mac, the authentication fails and I cannot complete the login.
Note: Launching IB Gateway manually from terminal (open Gateway.app or executing the binary directly) produces the same behavior as IBC – it selects the wrong hardware passkey. Only Finder launch works correctly.
