It would be nice to have angle snap as a feature so people can play fast paced games with better aim on linux, please do this, this would be REALLY good.

Reopened after PR #123 reverted the implementation; draft PR #124 preserves the tested work for discussion, but it should remain unmerged unless broader user demand justifies the maintenance cost.
