Memory Leak

Description

After the program is opened for a bit, and you try to move the mouse around, it will eventually freeze. I don't know yet what is causing this issue.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the program
2. Paste in text and try to click around the document

Expected Behavior

The program should continue to run as normal without crashing.

Actual Behavior

After a bit it will start to get slow and crash.

Environment

• OS: MacOS

This issue happens when opening and pasting large files into the text editor.
