I don't want to have to download 220mb every time I update

if you're on linux you can update using the appimage zsync file, which only downloads the part of the file that's changed since the previous version. there are several tools you can use for this but the one i recommend is AppManager.

if you're on macOS or windows you'll just have to put up with it, unless you can identify some specific ways i can cut down on the download size. otherwise there's nothing i can do.
