To work with DigiD on your local machine you should do the following:
-
Set up a reversed proxy for your local client running on localhost:3000. You could do this for instance using ngrok. Download it and then run: ngrok.exe http 3000
-
Add the URL of the reversed proxy (for instance 'https://0db66292.ngrok.io') to the 'Origins' setting in appsettings.json of the BackEnd project
-
Compile and run the BackEnd project
-
Test the client by browsing to the URL of the reversed proxy
Install something to run docker containers: IE Docker desktop: https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop To get it up and running download the source code.
Open a commandline use the command: docker-compose up, to run the containers and use CTRL + C to stop them again. To run them in the background use: docker-compose up - d
The backend url: https://localhost:40443 The frontend url: https://localhost:60443
To stop the containers: docker stop /mijnapp-backend docker stop /mijnapp-frontend
To remove the containers: docker rm /mijnapp-backend docker rm /mijnapp-frontend
