Current Behavior
When a section (e.g. Engage 2) is expanded to its individual actions via Expand to Actions, any edits made to those individual actions — such as reordering them, editing labels, or updating descriptions — are discarded when Collapse to Section is used. The section is restored, but the changes are lost.
The confirm dialog does warn that changes will be lost, but the desired behavior is that they should be preserved.
Desired Behavior
Edits made to individual actions after expanding should survive a Collapse to Section. If a user reorders actions, edits a label, or updates a description, those changes should be reflected in the collapsed section (or at minimum persisted so they are visible if the section is expanded again).
Steps to Reproduce
- Open a plan's Service Order
- Click a section that has an Expand to Actions option (e.g. a lesson section with provider content links)
- Click Expand to Actions
- Make a change to one of the individual action rows (reorder, edit label, etc.)
- Hover the first action row and click Collapse to Section
- Confirm the collapse
- Re-expand the section — the edits from step 4 are gone
